NTM is a Finnish family-owned company with extensive experience in the manufacture of high-quality and specialised refuse collection vehicles, trailers and truck bodies. SALES DIRECTOR
RCV Division | Närpes
Would you like to build international customer relationships, develop markets and help grow NTM’s sales network?
NTM is seeking a Sales Director who will serve as a key and highly visible representative of our RCV Division for customers, dealers and subsidiaries. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing sales across approximately 15 markets through strong customer relationships, active market presence and effective sales leadership.
Your Role
As Sales Director, you will lead and develop the sales activities of the RCV Division together with the Division Director, market organisations and your own team. You will work closely with customers and business opportunities while providing direction through clear objectives, activities and market plans.
You will play a central role in supporting, developing and guiding the division’s sales network.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive the division’s sales objectives and monitor sales performance, order intake and market share.
• Lead and develop your own organisation while promoting collaboration between sales and other functions across the business.
• Lead, support and develop sales activities across our markets through clear targets, action plans and follow-up.
• Represent NTM at customer meetings, trade fairs, dealer events and other market-related activities.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with dealers, subsidiaries, sales representatives and customers.
• Coordinate and host customer and dealer visits at our factory in Närpes together with our sales representatives.
• Bring market insights and customer perspectives into the division’s product strategy and product development efforts.

To Succeed in This Role
You are first and foremost a natural relationship builder who enjoys being active in the market. You gain energy from customer meetings, factory visits, trade fairs and business discussions. You are comfortable creating new contacts, presenting to groups and representing NTM in an international business environment.
At the same time, you have the structure and perseverance required to follow up on targets, activities and market development. You can support and challenge others in a constructive manner and inspire dealers and sales organisations to develop and grow together with NTM.
We Believe You Have
• Proven experience in international B2B sales, preferably within the vehicle, transport, machinery or manufacturing industries.
• Experience working through dealer, distributor or subsidiary networks.
• A demonstrated ability to build long-term customer relationships and develop significant business opportunities.
• Leadership experience and a track record of developing people, teams or sales organisations.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to evaluate business opportunities, profitability and risk.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent command of Swedish, Finnish and English. Knowledge of German or other languages is considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the division’s markets.
